Shannon Peil is a writer living in Boulder, Colorado whose work has appeared in a few dozen journals and magazines.  He would love it if you stopped referring to him as Ms. in emails.

amphibi.us (pronounced amphibious) is an online literary magazine that began in August of 2009. The main purpose of this journal is to connect emerging and established writers with readers outside of the ‘print is king’ mentality and without regard for biographies, previous publications, or anything that potentially distracts from the piece you’re reading itself. The words featured here swing from nonfiction/memoir to poetry, prose and flash fiction. Experimental works are fine, provided it is not experimental just because you don’t have a point to make. Crude language is fine, provided it is not just crude language for the shock of it.  Questions, comments, or any other queries can be directed above.
